Hey Eve,
thanks for your reply. I actually bought the HD version immediately after watching it. Because I know, this way I support an artist who is still spending more money on his passion than he’s earning. So, 4 € is still a joke. And mmmh, Cat Soup, another fav. I also want to mention the brilliant Happy Machine … they all share some kind of adventurousness, some kind of dadaism. They all think outside the box, outside conventions and kind of establish a direct connection so subconsciousness. Hard to describe, but they tickle certain feelings and thoughts others don’t. That’s what I love. Thanks also for the Howl Animation tip, that one is new to me.

i like how the “click here to buy this film in HD” could be part of the (2nd) movie. at the same time it shows that the world is as f+++++ up as the movie suggests. and the machine shows off its ability of integration – that it is able to make books to best sellers which title: money stinks. still think it’s brilliant – reminded me of howl-animations and catsoup – no?! the type of animation is different but i can see some similarities – you too?
